Child & Adolescent Therapy

Boy Feeling Offended and Rejected by Other Kids

Does your child have difficulty identifying their emotions and feelings? Has the thought “I wish I knew what was going on so I can help” ever crossed your mind? If so, you’re not alone. Children and adolescents may not be able to express what they’re feeling, and this may present as challenging behaviors, meltdowns, and tantrums. Sometimes these behaviors may impact their ability to perform well in school, interact with peers, and participate in activities. As a team, we can develop problem-solving, emotional regulation, and life skills needed to succeed and cope effectively.

Teen Therapy

Teenage years can feel like one big roller coaster ride of emotions. High school can bring a lot of new opportunities; and yet, there can be so much uncertainty thinking about school, friends, and the future. It’s normal for teens to question who they are, while searching for where they belong. Teens are exploring their independence, and this can be challenging for parents to maneuver. The demands of everyday life can feel heavy and cause feelings of exhaustion and lack of motivation. Together, we can process life’s highs and lows and learn skills for meaningful change and connection.

Young Adult Therapy

“What’s next” and “What’s my purpose?” may be common questions that cross your mind. You may be ending one chapter, hopeful to start the next, or unsure of what is yet to come. New life stages, career choices, changing friendships, and relationships may be new territory you are exploring. Life may feel demanding and filled with questions and doubt. Experiencing a variety of emotions is common and can be confusing to manage. We can navigate this together and learn new tools and strategies to proceed with confidence for whatever comes your way.
